I hope you find my profile a little different to others you may read on here and that overall it gives you a good indication of the kind of person I truly am. Also that it shows that I am a good communicator and a man of feeling, both in written and verbal form.


Having spent over 12 years at one time working in care homes, I can honestly show that I have a caring, understanding and totally unselfish nature......and many attempts (failed mostly!) to match the female staff when drinking on nights out. I became the senior carer for two different homes, which is a reflection of my dedication and understanding. In all work environments I often get recognised for my good work ethics and leadership qualities. I have a lifelong aspiration for being a full time writer,To inspire and give understanding about everything and anything, using an open mind and search for truth. (A true scorpio!)

My priority is to put others first, although I am now trying hard to put myself first and find the small selfish bone that must be floating around my body somewhere! I am often at my happiest and most content, when given the chance to help others in some way. I appreciate the very simplest things in life. It's not always what you have but what you dont have, that makes you special. My life feels special and meaningful, with a strong sense of duty and need to achieve. I am always extremely considerate and thoughtful,perceptive,and inquisitive. (I am a charismatic scorpio after all! lol) Hopefully you will find me articulate, and reasonably eloquent. These are attributes I value and take pride in. I am also full of feeling, sensitivity and diplomacy. These words come from a depth that characterizes my general personality. I am genuinely interested in the thoughts and feelings of the woman I'm with and treat a relationship with us both on an equal footing. Giving lots of time for special romantic gestures and cuddles and kisses too. I like to show love in a deep and meaningful way, touching little gestures unfelt by many.

I strive for truth and understanding in everything, which makes me honest and respectful, open minded and non-judgemental. Also I attempt to go forward in life with a positive attitude towards myself and other people. You will very rarely hear me put others down as I believe it just reflects badly on yourself in the end. I must admit also to having a few old fashioned manners, qualities which are rarely seen or heard nowadays. I give great respect to other peoples thoughts and views on things. I believe I have a witty sense of humour which is often exercised in poetic form for the amusement of others. Humility is something I always declare but at the same time I possess the belief that I can make a difference in people's lives and have a great deal of cards to show for it. I just haven't been able to find the right woman for myself yet.


For entertainment, I love watching local bands and having a good jig on the dance floor if there is one. (If not...I'll make one! ) Mainly bands that play tunes from the 70's and 80's Also I love touring different places, especially those of historical interest, reading, writing and socialising with friends. I am an old fashioned romantic with many tactile and thoughtful gestures to show the woman I am with, how special she is.

I would prefer to meet a woman who lives in the East Yorkshire area if possible, though I am willing to travel a little further afield. Looks aren't the most important thing to me(dont say to others what you can't say for yourself! ) and have messaged other people without photo's and seem nice from what they have written. It's how you think and feel that matters most of all. Someone who can identify and relate to what I have written and is willing to learn from everything they experience in life and touched by the simplest of things. An intelligent and spontaneus sense of humour is preferred, to that which centres on making others the butt of their jokes in a demeaning way. You dont have to dress up to the nines with make up and high heels, the homely look is just as attractive. How you view the world (and beyond) and people around you is what matters most to me. Feminine beauty is more than skin deep.
