About Me
Here are some random facts about me:
* I love animals and have 2 cats - they are my babies. I treat them as well as I expect them to treat my furniture (but I do turn a blind eye to that one chair though)
* Irony makes me laugh
* I love travelling - mostly Southern destinations but I'll take anything, lol.
* The profile says long term but I realize that it starts with dating. I'm not looking for chronic dating without a potential goal.
* Rye and ginger, or sometimes red wine...that's good stuff
* Cheese and chocolate is yummy. Not together of course. I'm half dutch but not that freaky.
* I'm in kitchen design but I don't cook at all. Irony. See? Funny.
* It bothers me when people say they like to have fun. Who is that random person that hates fun? Oh I'm sure someone will email me to let me know how they hate fun.
* I have a twisted and slightly sarcastic sense of humour
* I don't understand the appeal in 'chick flicks'. I'll take Star Wars, LOTR, or any ridiculous comedy in lieu. (I was quoting Monty Python in grade 6 much to the chagrin of my educators)
* Yep it's true. Sometimes I have purple in my hair. Creative freedom.
* I have a few piercings and one tat. Tats hurt. I respect those that have a lot of them.

* You don't hunt (You might fish but you never catch anything because its probably code for drinking with a rod and line)
* You know how to medicate your cat allergies - obviously.
* You might have kids - I don't really care. Hopefully what you have is enough for you though
* You're a leg man ;)
* Have a decent sense of humour. I won't say 'good' since this is subjective of course.
* Sorta tall. I'm sorta tall so it's logical (and I like to wear heels)

First Date
Something fun obviously. Maybe flinging jelly-filled doughnuts at pedestrians in driveby fashion would be a good start. Oh, we would laugh...then maybe feel a bit guilty. The kids are starving in third world countries...we shouldn't waste food.

 | I've known this one since we were youngins and she's crazy I tell ya!! What a sly and wicked sense of humor!! Since I got re-acquainted with her a couple of years back she's made me laugh.. She doesnt know this but the last time she made a joke that was so subversive, and subtle that everyone at the table had no idea what the hell she was talking about.. I was even stunned; then 10 minutes later I got it and laughed inappropriately during another conversation and couldn't stop for at least a minute... |
