About Me
Something that I wanted to share with anyone reading these thoughts and ideas:
ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE UNSTOPABLE. THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN EVER DEFEAT YOU IS YOU! IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE NOT DONE IN YOUR PAST, IT ONLY MATTERS HOW YOU PERCIEVE THINGS TODAY, AND HOW YOU CHOOSE TO LIVE YOUR TOMORROWS. I BELIEVE IN YOUR POTENTIAL AND KNOW THAT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU HOUSE A POWERFUL INNER GIANT WITHIN YOU. YOU HAVE ONLY TO SUMMON IT WITH CONFIDENCE AND IT WILL SERVE YOU WELL. LIVE LIFE AS POSITIVE AS YOU CAN AND LIFE WILL RETURN THIS ENERGY TO YOU.
Okay a few things to share with readers right off the bat. First of all yes I am really me, Erik Brush, the artist, author, and conservationist. I am just looking for friends and folks interested in helping the planet. No I am not signing any autographs, or endorsing anything for anyone from the site unless it has to do with wildlife conservation I am not interested. If you wish to meet with me to discus conservation concerns, or some of the organizations that I am involved in then that is perfectly viable.
Also for those who have been to my website ( my name plus the dot com ) and seen my celebrity clients, I will make this quite clear for you right now. Please do not think that I am about to help you meet busy a-listers and TV personalities just because they are clients. My business with them is discrete, and done generally long distance through various friends, agents, and family members of those folks. Having lunch with me is NOT going to get you a phone number or show invitation from Oprah, or Val Kilmer, or Edward James Olmos, Tom Hanks, U2, Robin Williams, Chris Angel, Paul Watson, Chris Browne, etc. You get the point.
I have been on the site for many years now and still visit in passing and check e-mail etc. I am not actively dating right now and just tired of the scene. Not pessamism, just not interested in pressing the relationship issue at this time. Thanks to all of my friends, fans, and readers for your dedication and support. Special thanks to Bob Proctor and the Life Success program for your advice conferences and help. Thanks to Captain Paul Watson for the work you do and to Sea Shepherd Conservation Society for their great spirit and efforts, and for allowing me to help out with the Cetacean project. The Marine eco-systems of the worlds oceans provide the planet with over 70% of it's oxygen. This is due to phytoplankton, algae, and green plants that absorb 80% of the dangerous carbon gases in the sea and air, and product O2 for all life. Sharks and Cetaceans ( whales, dolphins, porpoises ) are the 2 apex predators of the oceans. They eat the fish and crustaceans that eat the algea and phytoplankton.
Sharks are virtually unprotected and being finned ( their fins cut off while they are alive, and the animal tossed back into the water to die ) and are down by 90%. Whales are still trying to recover from the days of mass whaling and Japan, Norway, and Iceland are still ilegally killing them. When these two species get reduced far enough their prey species will have a population explosion and consume the planet's life line. Once this happens we ( and all other major life forms ) will perish. Avoiding a global extinction event is high on my list of priorities, how about yours? If you don't know about global warming and Methane-hydrate, maybe it's time you find out. The Sixth Extinction comes out in January of 2010. Worth the read to learn the truth!

A genuinely concerned friend, willing to lend an ear or a word of advice when needed..and when you don't "need" advice, he'll just make you laugh.  | what can i say, about my friend, the viking? i want to keep it within his liking. ok. he's the leader of the horde (only because the rest of them got bored.) but, seriously, this man has a true heart, which you will surely see...even tho' he likes to posture as a terror-instilling viking, this is a man you'll find to your liking. you may ask, why? because he listens, and he feels, and wears his heart on his sleeve. if he's your friend, you know it; this you can believe. in these days, when players hold sway, this man will prove himself, and the viking way. standing tall for his beliefs, and the rights of those he cares for, i believe erik embodies those traits many seek, and becomes that rare thing: the man who can be depended upon, and a part of the family you'd choose to be in your life. erik...i choose you, my friend. and, for those who live nearer, consider holding this prince dearer... |
 | ah, the naughty viking. Well, his erotic poems will make you blush, but there is more to Erik than a sexual side (though sometimes days will go by while you search for it). Couldn't resist teasing you bud. Erik is well loved in the pond, and for good reason. If you are down, he will not rest until you are giggling...and it's hard to remain sad with a smile...he tends his friendships carefully, keeping in touch, and is tenderly protective of his female friends. One of my favorite posters, poets and characters in the pond. As you can see, a real cutie pie with a little Captain in him. Erik, you're safe, I wouldn't wish a Bush speech on a republican even! No, I would make them listen to Karl Rove sing. |

 | This here is the king of giggles, but don't let him fool you... our Viking has a deep well of compassion and wisdom to offer anyone in need. He's also got enough stories to fill two lifetimes, and the wit and humor to make even the most mundane of occurances exciting! If he seems a little fond of the ladies at times, well, all I can say is that I don't know a single woman who would object to his attentions. He is an amazing man, and brings out the best in everyone around him. |

Expressive and outgoing, this very charming Viking seems to have captured the hearts and imaginations of many of us women. Plus he might let you on his ship, and give Sven the night off.
