Ok so I am an Ottawa native, having grown up here and lived here for all my life except for about 3 years where I bounced between Ottawa and Hamilton, mostly living in Hamilton.

Want a tour of the city feel free to ask, I have a decent idea of where they put things. Except for when I don't. :P


About me:

I am an open minded individual with a touch of crazy on the side. You know like a garnish to a plate to make it more interesting, like salt or tabasco sauce.

I prefer to be an active individual, but I will admit I am unfortunately still human and so still enjoy days in as well. Interests are pretty wide and varied and include Rock climbing, music, martial arts, driving, camping, movies, cooking, RPG's(table top, so sue me I'm a geek), reading, SCUBA diving and a number of other things I can't think of right now.

In general I have an open mind to most things so if I haven't tried it, it only takes minimal coaxing for me to try it.

I am no longer a student, having graduated. I am presently working for the government and am happy to be in the workplace.
Given the chance I can usually yammer on for way too long about way too many subjects.

What I am looking for:

Someone who is open minded, kind and loyal. Someone intelligent and is willing to discuss or argue about any number of things.
Someone who shares some interests but is also willing to introduce me to there interests and also give some of mine a try. Ideally a partner, an equal.


Ideally I am looking for something long term, but I also realize people are people, and something like that requires time and getting to know one another first, atleast a couple dates.

Go out get some food, doesn't matter where, probably a more calm relaxed restaurant, or even to my place I love to cook. Then cuddle up and watch a movie together.

Or at least that's my ideal date in general. I figure a meet to make sure that we're comfortable with each other first makes the most sense, then worry about planning an actual date.

Maybe it'd make more sense for coffee? or a movie? Probably the best way to get to know each other first, then my "make dinner" idea. Anyway gimme a suggestion.
