Picture updated (finally).

A writer who doesn't know what to write about himself. What are the odds, right?
(No, it isn't my profession, its a hobby -- sort of. Ask me if you like, its a good story.) Allow me to make this very easy on myself. I'll name a few things, and if you're interested in other details, ASK. Communication is the only real way to get to know anyone, and its best if its done on a two-way street.

I'm easy going, almost to a fault. I'm honest, but elusive. I'm humorous, but some people can't quite tell if I'm being serious or silly. I'm quiet until I get a topic I know something about, but even then I like a dialogue, not a monologue. I'm a die hard romantic, but a bit jaded as well. Life doesn't always end up like fiction (but it should!). The glass is neither half full nor half empty, it simply is. No, I'm not big on Zen, but I prefer things to be objective when possible. I have a very high standard that I try to live up to, but don't force it on others. If people are really happy with who they are, then I don't wish to take that away from them (so long as whatever they are doing to make themselves happy is safe, of course). And, lastly, I always fight the good fight. I can't stand unfairness, and will do what I can to make the world just a little more fair. Questions? Ask away.

I want someone... well, first and foremost someone who can communicate. Life isn't a bed of roses and not everything will be perfect all the time. BUT! If I know what's going on, something can be done about it. So, communication is key, the rest is just icing. I'll toss in a few other things: Stubborn but not unyeilding; intelligent but not someone who thinks that intelligent people somehow have more rights than those are aren't so gifted; a quick wit, but not one who is mean for the sake of being mean; someone who can talk and talk and talk, but will also listen when need be; someone who is loyal; and someone that I can click with.

I don't play games. If you do, look elsewhere please. I've had enough games already. :)

Anything from coffee, to dinner at the Ritz, to a simple picnic, PROVIDING we can talk. I'm really very easy to please, and so long as there's conversation, I'll be happy doing whatever.
