About me:
I am shy but am determined to not let people see it anymore. I have long hair, am a bit of a foodie, workaholic at times, and cant get enough music and movies. I totaled my bike and no longer have one. I listen to an eclectic mix of music, mostly metal, industrial, techno and gothic; however, there is some classical, jazz and blues in there among other styles also. My friends see me as a gentle and kind soul. I tend to be sarcastic and caustic at times. If you can get me talking, it is hard to get me to shut up, especially about free and open software.

I fight for my friends and while I am guilty of loosing touch sometimes, I feel that the bonds with friends that I have made over the years endures distance and time without a loss of connection. I am learning to try harder to stay in touch with people to keep those bonds of friendship even stronger. Because the connections we make with others in life is really what it is all about isn't it?

I have a thirst for knowledge and my brain is filled with tons of worthless knowledge that does not seem to serve any purpose. It impresses some, annoys others, but doesn't seem to help me much. I tend to obsess over my hobbies, but not like I used to. My current hobbies including stain glass, wire & beaded jewelry, cooking, computers, programming and soap making which I am still researching. I am looking at starting some new hobbies: glass work (blown and lamp-work), silk screening, photography and graphic design. I am actually starting a screen printing company currently. It would fall under hobby still but I can see it becoming more. I am usually very passionate with my interests and my relationships.

I have worked many jobs in my life, several of them concurrently. Construction, finished carpentry, various restaurant jobs including as a sushi chef for a year, in a cattery breeding and taking are of bengals, customer service, and now several computer related positions. I have 4 bengal cats. I have one of my brothers live with me, but he is supposed to be moving out.

Secrets about me:
I tend to be cautious and am slow to open up. I can talk a lot about less important things but the more personal and deep the conversation goes the less I tend to share. My relationships tend to be less than perfect because of this and partly of that is probably because I am broken. I have a broken heart that I fear will never heal. I admit I have issues but I know what the big ones are, and that is the first step to overcoming them.

I have piercings but no tattoos yet. I have wanted tattoos since I was 5 when I saw my grandpa's WWII tattoos, but I have not decided on what I want nor whom I want to do the tattooing.

Looking for:
I am looking for new friends and people to hang out with and share in "cultural" experiences. I had tons of time when I wrote this but have almost no free time now. But I am still trying to find one or more people to join me in trips to the Riffee Gallery, Wexner Center, Cultural Art Center, the zoo, and other such places. So If you are interested in sharing some good food and conversation, as well as visiting the aforementioned places or others places you can introduce me to. I am always game for Japanese/sushi, Chinese or any other good food.

Things people hate about me:
The obscure and varied mix of music that I listen to (especially when it's on random), how I sometimes help people TOO much, my snoring, my not so humble opinions when it comes to computers and technology, that I am smarter then they are (not really, I am kidding on this one), my endless yet awesome movie quotes and references.

I am not really looking for to date anyone currently, but you never know what could happen. I love the Franklin Park Conservatory and any other festival or community event. I am also usually up for some get to know you conversation in a relaxed coffee shop, book store, or other social gathering place. Food is always great and dinner for two with tales of childhood dreams or playful banter, just not fast food. Something nicer like a few of my favorites: Imperial Garden (my new favorite Chinese place), Cap City diner, Ted's Montana Grill, Yani's, Carfagnas, House of Japan, or somewhere with good Sushi (Sapporo every Friday).

I love movies so I guess I am not apposed to meeting to see a movie but it has to be followed by some good conversation and critique afterward to reveal each others deepest thoughts.
