I am still simply interested in meeting someone who enjoys life and all the amazing offerings available. Spontaneity is a plus as surprises make things refreshing and I try and instill this concept in my son and daughter, but not without emphasizing the need to focus on goals whether daily or long term. Meeting someone who enjoys being active is a definite plus but also someone who enjoys kicking back and watching television and movies while snuggling under a blanket on those cold nights appeals to me. You will find I am a rarity in a man as I am a hopeless romantic who believes in fairytales and the magic of love, though also feels one perhaps has a better chance of winning the Lottery than finding the latter! But that's not to say I don't keep the faith! As for TV, modern technology gives us the wonderful DVR so you may view at your own convenience. When it comes to camping I like to backpack into the forest or canoe and stay on an island. I am one who feels life and learning are an ongoing process so I am always ready for a museum or visiting a site of interest and I really love history. I am also a musician and songwriter, love softball, and enjoy good company. I graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1982 and prior to that worked with mentally challenged individuals for 10 years. Presently I am an educator in a juvenile placement facility. I freelance and own a screen printing and sign business though it has become more of a hobby the last few years. Whether it be a dinner date or a walk in the woods priority dictates getting to know one another and let the cards fall where they may.
