This could either be the most difficult part or the easiest part depending on how descriptive I want to be. So here we go.... I am not a serial dater and if my profile is showing I am not dating anyone now. I am more of the lets find the one that seems right and give it a fighting chance kind of guy! I am here because I work in a male dominated field and I dont like the bar/nightclub scene.

I love to travel and I love the water. Any water but warm or tropical is the best. I love to camp, water ski or just be out in my boat. I snow ski but in cold weather I'd rather cozy up to a warm, crackling fire with a glass of wine and listen to music...... sorry, I started to drift there. Also, (in case its relevant) I am told that I am a good kisser;) I have built an addition and done landscaping and designing (for myself) so I'm handy. I'm athletic. I play tennis, golf, softball, snorkel (I want to SCUBA) and rollerblade. I have also been known to get my priorities adjusted occasionally at lakeside church. I am alot of the boring things, Responsible, considerate, nice, loyal, polite and I don't often swear, But I'm definitely not as conservative as I'm making myself sound. I'm also adventurous, silly, have a great sense of humor and love to sing (somehow I know those last two items have to be related). I am easy to get along with and can keep a conversation going with the best of 'em. I have a beautiful 11 year old daughter that lives with me part time and makes me proud every day.

As far as this dating thing goes and what I'm looking for, I don't believe you will know how the chemistry is until you meet the person, can see the persons smile, have a conversation with them and can see the sparkle in their eyes. I'm amazed at how much stock people put in pictures. Sure you can get a basic idea of what someone looks like or the kind of shape they are in (which is why I have some posted) but there is a lot to be said for the way a person carries themself or the smile they have when they look at you.. When I am out in social settings I think of how people miss out when they base a decision on one dimensional pictures. Remember in the old days when relationships lasted (oops, showing my age).. :)

Something else I think is important in a partner is a healthy interest in sex. I'm not looking for sex right away. There is nothing more unfulfilling to me then being physical with someone I dont care about. But if you are the one, We have to have that in common. :) Lastly, a belief in the golden rule is very important. Other then that, what is it they say... you cant win if you dont play? (I think that was for the lottery but it still applies!) :)

first date I would like to go someplace for a drink and an appetizer.. Someplace where we can talk and get to know each other.
