I believe in fidelity, tolerance, humour (black is good...) and positive change -- personally and socially. I do NOT believe in possessiveness, jealousy, apathy or sloth. I am looking for an honest man who has direction, a soul, a heart, who knows that the little things mean the most, who can have fun anywhere/anytime, someone who knows how to laugh even if it may be at himself, generous of heart and free of spirit, someone who cares about community and is willing to accept the challenge of working and contributing to making a difference.

I have my serious side but am generally happy, laid back and easygoing, and tend to use humour to ease the tensions of daily life. I'm hoping to find someone who can appreciate me as I am and laugh with me, as well as be a calming influence and comfort me during the difficult times.

If we share common values and beliefs, the rest will fall into place.

For me, something outdoorsy -- a little hike or walk through the woods, a picnic maybe. If winter, build a snowman and then hit a cafe for hot chocolate -- something unpressured and quiet so I could torture with a bazillion personal questions. I'd be open to suggestions though, and would only object to anything risking life or limb. And of course, if I really like you, I will let you know...
