Haven't found what I'm looking for!

Pleasure love happiness and fulfillment come to those who first and always give.
Though many search few will find, for they will not recognize it as it arrives.
For if you blame you have failed to forgive you are them, which not they but you live.
As emptiness now feels my days I hold to moments I gave and for a moment I was alive.

My regrets are few, the search for one more moment with others keep me from you.
I hold close to those of my past even though they could not find that which would last.
If I find you for a season which will to rapidly pass, have I not found the love of eternity at last.
And to live a life in a moment as in a dream, will its value be less are more extreme .

Life is to live and love, to cease that moment which we never give up.
For life dictates at its end we face only that we can take with us.
If regrets from which we could not move on, where have our lives gone.
The birth of a old soul is but one more chance to forgive and move on.

The life given me thus far has brought fulfillment that many desire.
To touch the life of so many and to leave it better than as I entered. few will acquire.
But the emptiness has always remained I give with out reserve.
But the goal of love for which I desperately search is elusive, are is it absurd?

Words with though from a friend and I in hopes that life gets better before it passes you by.

Darkness holds no light.
It holds the soul forever in night.
To keep eyes closed and let life pass me by.
A choice made by no other than I.

Most fail to realize the words they say.
Over others we meet may hold great sway.
Will the efforts lead them to life as they may.
Are condemn them to see it in our way.

Will the effort move them to greater things.
Or plunge them deeper into spiraling rings.
No other can lift my soul as high as I.
So do I dwell in darkness are seek the light.


Will you pass me by?

When you saw me did you pause.
Did you wonder if I was worthy of a cause.
Will you seize the moment are let it pass.
Are see if your efforts make it last.
Did I hold a moment in your reality.
And will you dare to share it with me.

That moment which one has always desired but never managed to acquire.
That moment which with out pretense where one can be all that is me.
That moment which all shadows fail and fade away this is me and my day.
That moment which I chose to make for I first shared and will now achieve.
