About Me
"Insanity is doing the same thing over again expecting a different result."

I guess I now know why I still check in here from time to time...

~~~~~=====~~~~~
"Only riders understand why a dog sticks its head out the window!"
The exhilaration of a finely tuned engine responding to your wrist while slicing through the scene and not merely watching the scenery go by is beyond compare. I enjoy the classic bikes and can see that I may soon need a larger garage.
I'm not into Harley's, biker rallies, or any kind of pop culture "biker" stuff. I just truly enjoy my trusty (not rusty!) older Kawasaki motorcycles. There's just something about that smooth quick revving engine that gets my motor runnin'.
I'm still stuck (locked, forgotten?) in the '80s. What great music and fun movies! As David Lee Roth was quoted, "The bands smiled and the music smiled." DLR said that during the doldrums of grunge in the '90s (the decade the music died, IMNSHO). 1984 was a fun and fabulous year for me. Do you remember the Olympics in LA, Mary Lou Retton and all those gold medals? The '80s were a very fun time (thanks, Ronnie, R.I.P.).
More about me? Okay, since you asked! I try to find humor in the oddest circumstances. Give me a moment and I can discover some amount of cynical/sarcastic humor about most anything. I keep my hair trimmed and stay clean shaven. I even brush and floss my teeth! I don't use tobacco of any kind nor do I drink coffee and I don't find tattoos or piercings or other forms of self mutilation particularly attractive (I don't have any). Most of the time I am house broken. Good conversation is to be savored and good friends are forever.
I enjoy tinkering with things. I get satisfaction from working with my hands and I'm good at fixing things, but I'm lousy at art or great creativity. I have no interest in fixing up old houses, though. I have a serious side that is reserved for those that know me best. I live alone with no pets (I can't handle the competition), I've held a steady job for over a decade and a half, there are no convictions and no outstanding warrants. I'm ordinary and boring (you'll have to find out for yourself just HOW boring ). I mow my own lawn--sometimes with disastrous results.
Noting the above Body Type choices, I didn't choose a body type since none available seem to describe me well. I'm working on shedding extra weight (aren't many of us?) to get down to about 220 (less, I hope!) and my pics are a year old (except the one in the sweatshirt which is from our amateur radio Field Day this past June, taken early Sunday morning after too little sleep). When I get down to where I'm supposed to be, it'll be time for new pics.
I am active in my church and committed in my faith of my Lord Jesus Christ. I am truly blessed. I am grateful to Him for being born in the USA and having the freedom to worship on any given Sunday.
The lass I am hoping to meet will, like me, have never been married nor have children (those are experiences I would like to share with someone else for their first time as well), doesn't smoke and preferably has left her wild party days far behind (i.e. doesn't get sloshing drunk anymore). She enjoys rural/country living and finds the howl of the coyotes or the hoot of an owl to be an evening serenade or the stillness of a quiet evening something to be savored together. Hopefully, we can agree very closely on religious, moral, and financial values. After all that, most everything else is negotiable for me.
How about you?
First Date
A nice country ride to some small town cafe for lunch or dinner with our bikes parked out front while we enjoy a good meal and great conversation.
And then?
