I like the simple things in life. I guess that makes me a simple man?
I'm shy at first but most of it passes fairly quickly. I am honest, dependable. I'm easy going and have a good sense of humor. sometimes it’s a sarcastic sense of humor.
Some examples of What I like:
The sound of fields blowing in the breeze.
Thunderstorms. Parking the car up in the hills so you are able to see for miles and watch the show.
The smell of a warm spring day. Everything smells fresh and reborn.
The sound of kids laughing while playing outside.
A good upbeat song that makes you tap to the music or attempt to sing along.
Being in love. Just thinking about the person makes your heart beat a little quicker.
Stopping to help someone.
Having kids. It amazes me I helped create a life and being called dad.
The smell of food cooking.
Honest people.
Watching people. I'm a people watcher.
Being complimented on the job. They need to do that more.
The internet. Its pretty cool you can talk to someone from a different country.
I'm looking for what everyone else is looking for. love and companionship. Everything is different when in love. Even the boring things in life are better when you have the one you love next to you.
I love old things. for example, old towns, houses. I'm also a history buff.
I have a grown son and daughter. My daughter now has a baby of her own so I guess that makes me a er...ahem...grandpa. **Update** My daughter now has another baby. I think my daughter needs to get a hobby.
Things I dont like:
Food that look like weeds or something that came off the ocean floor.
Someone who is always late.
People who say they will call then don't.
All the normal stuff. Cheaters, liars etc.
First Date
My 1st date...hmmm. Movies, no. I cant get to know you if we have to be quiet and sitting in the dark. I would prefer maybe meeting in a park or restaurant. if things go good then maybe the 2nd or 3rd date could be a movie. I like the driv-ins myself.
