About Me
Well I put long-term cause that's the ultimate objective. However, I'm open to hang-out, play some pool, talk on the phone or chat online. I can talk about anything, and often do. :)
I come from the Southbay and have been here a few of years now.
I've been quite busy lately and haven't gotten around to writing back to all messages. Sorry 'bout that.
So here's where I'm suppose to say things like "I love the outdoors. I work out regularly. I'm an independant guy who's a real go-getter. I know what I want. I love life and live it to the fullest." I like that last one the best. It leaves no room for being any better someday.
Now here's the truth: I DO like the outdoors, but don't get out their much other than to walk my dog. I guess I'd do more if I had someone to do it with. However, I like to go on aimless drives. I even like driving around SF.
I don't work out so much. I stopped staring at my muscles in the mirror cause it was getting creepy. I saw one of those muscle magazines like Arnold used to be in and thought, "How gay is it when you look at muscle guys in magazines?" Not that there's anything wrong with that. ;)
I watch way too much TV. But then my major in college was Radio/TV/Film. I once had a class called television criticism. My homework? Yep, I had to watch TV. But before you go and enroll, keep in mind that I had to write papers about it too. And you don't get an A for writing "this show sucked." The professor expected a little more from us. Apparently, "sucked" isn't a valid criticism. Who knew?
Do I know what I want? Yes and no. Wait, that's not an answer. What are we talking about? ummm I want good things and I don't want bad things. There, that covers that.
Do I love life and live it to the fullest? Not quite. I keep going from thinking that life sucks and people are morons to people are basically good and I get along with most of them, so life isn't so bad. Personally, I wish people with opinions would just shut up and sit down. Leave the rest of us alone. I don't care what they believe in or whether they think something is right or wrong. The truth is, they don't know any more than I do. But I DO know this, if it violates someone else, it's bad. That's my opinion anyway. I'll sit down and shut up now.
First Date
I believe the ideal would be to meet at a Starbucks or quiet bar. I like chips and salsa with a margarita too. So for a first meeting, a Mexican restaurant would be good. These are safe and great for chatting.
I'm not the type who puts a lot into a first encounter. If "she's not the one," I would try to make the most of the night and try to have fun anyway. I've done this. I just continue having a nice conversation. Maybe it's misleading, but I think it's a lot better than clamming up and listening to that voice that says "how do I get out of this?" I had that happen to me once. It was obvious I wasn't what she was hoping for. Talk about boring! Last time I meet a model type. Well...maybe. ;)
I say this to all fellow daters: lighten up, it's just a first get together. If you're not turned on by him/her, relax and treat them as you'd want to be treated. Then just become less available the next day. Oops, I may be giving away too much. lol
