I'm an easy-going, laid-back gal who likes to use two hyphenated words at the beginning of an introductory sentence. I like all the usual things; reading, running, Bacardi, anything with four weels, restaurant meals, food shopping (yes, really), old films, Oscar Wilde, getting e-mails. I don't like going clubbing as I am a fully paid up member of the Grumpy Old Lady brigade - an ever-increasing group of intelligent women who know their own minds!

I'd like to meet someone who is intelligent, funny and looks after themselves reasonably well. I don't care how classically 'good-looking'you are as long as you have a spark of intelligence. If you are about to send me a message along the lines of "how r u babe?" or think it a good idea to write in text speak, don't worry about me!

Also, as you may have already gathered, I'm convinced I'm hilarious. This conviction remains constant regardless of how many men queue up to tell me otherwise. You don't have to laugh but pleased don't be surprised when I do.
