Tall, fit, articulate, considerate guy who likes books, Buffett tunes, Brubeck tunes, palm trees, sensuality, humor, all-over tans, and all life forms... I'm a professional type guy, with a wide wild streak. I have traded security and hearth and home for adventure a few times in my life - and I've been glad I it did it every time. I'm thinking about a tall (ummm over 5'8"), fit (reasonably fit, you know someone who has taken reasonably good care of her body), smart, savvy, conscious, woman who loves her body and mind - in a confident, easy manner - not having to impress anyone, yet all the while she is quite comfy in her skin, mind, spirit, and sexuality. She will love books and music, live jazz, sipping wine while the guitar player strums, and going for a drive with the top down and not worrying about the condition of her hair. She would rather be sans-clothing than with, and prefer tropical cotton to more business or formal wear. She would prefer comfy beach shoes (or bare feet) over crazy high heels or high heeled sandals (or whatever the he__ they are). She will be on a spiritual path - even if irregular (hey, we still need some material fun and stuff). I do think a "spiritual" view is important. I read Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Alan Watts, Neale Donald Walsch, etc. (But I also like a good Dirk Pitt adventure or a story by Elmore Leonard or Carl Hiaasen.)

Shall we do some practical stuff? I don't (in my opinion) need, or want; a mother, maid or therapist. I'm pretty independent and I will respect your individuality as my own. I like people who are free-spirited and express themselves. I won't be threatened by you knowing who you are and what your personal truth is - just let me have mine too. I'm a very sensual, tactile, visual guy. I love a good reason to stay in bed 'til noon. I like Buffett tunes, driving with the top down; I like clothing optional places and I like to push the life envelope experience once in a while - keeping in mind it's a good idea to live for another day. It is important that my partner feels the same... Got any ideas?

One more little thing. If there is a Goddess (yeah, I'd like to try a Goddess for a few millennium; this whole "God" thing could definitely use a feminine touch) she will save me from the conservatives! If you are "liberal" in your politics, realistically open-minded in your sexuality (ever read Margo Anand?), and spirituality; and think the planet could use a break - it will be fun to talk.

Oh yeah, and I do have short blond hair under my hat...

And; I take reasonably good care of my body with exercise, and, mostly, quality (organic whenever possible) food. No fast food at all for me. (The fish tacos at Chapala are a favorite.)I do like good dry wines (OK - sometimes a bit too much) but don't drink hard liquor except a snifter of Tequila once in a while.

I'm not in a hurry about, or forcing this process of "meeting" someone - but I am, obviously, on task about it. I am here after all. If I've learned anything it's that it has to feel mostly right and comfortable when you meet someone - and if it doesn't it can not be forced. If we meet and after a cup of coffee (or whatever) want to have another, great - aren't we the lucky ones. If we want to get back to our separate days and lives - no harm no foul. All that said; I'm ready to meet the woman who drives me crazy. The woman I can't stop thinking about, I can't get enough of, and who melts me with her smile, voice, eyes, laugh and ... touch. yes, for that I am ready.



Oh yeah.. There is a chance that I might be moving south (need more sun). In a perfect world that would be just fine with the perfect partner.

First date? Or a first meeting - big, big difference... I'd say coffee or tea or a glass of wine so we/you have an easy exit in case I bore you to tears. If we laugh to tears we can always keep going.
