Have a great job, roof over my head and pay my own bills - but perhaps missing one thing? Humor, smiles, laughter is a must! Keep it sweet & simple with no drama & no games.
I'm not big into the bar scene and certaintly not a party girl. But I will go and have a drink every once in a while. Prefer to sit around a bonfire (we didn't have those in Cali) or do a bbq with a nice glass of wine. Prefer a jeans & t-shirt type of guy! Just a laid back type of gal and "old school"!
Born in Frankfurt, Germany - naturalized US Citizen. 13 years in the Marine Corps/Dad spent 23 years in the Navy - lived all over the world. Yes, I'm a VET and proud! Semper Fi! Five years divorced after a 13 year marriage. Three children (none by birth as I married into a ready made family) & one grandson. No baggage/no hang-ups/pretty normal except an occasional moment out of wack. Well heck I was a Marine.......what do you expect? LOL
Favorite things: A child's true giggle/laughter or smile; bringing a smile to someone's face for no reason at all - it can make your day; anything pink; food - italian/pastas; football - SAN DIEGO CHARGERS; playing tennis; hiking a new place; not a shopper but love thrift stores/antiques. Country music. Love motorcycle riding with no sure destination - just ride and enjoy!
Great job (accounting) with a wonderful company in Elgin. Lucky me!
The glass is half full type of gal. Soft spoken and can't stand yelling and arguing. Life is just too short for that negative stuff. Communication is the key.
