I am a mans man who loves God.
I am 46 years old and the father of a daughter that just graduated college and went into the army, and 9-year-old twins, a boy and a girl. I love kids, and would have a dozen more if 15 years younger.
I was a career Firefighter in Texas, Chicago, and in Maryland. I am the kind of guy who will stop to change your grandmother’s tire in a thunderstorm. I like to do just about anything outdoors, go to movies, festivals and cultural events too. Sitting at home and watching a lightning storm, read, shoot pool, antique shopping and flea markets (that’s about the only shopping that I would plan into my day unless absolutely necessary), SCUBA DIVING, fishing. My Twins keep me busy and I am fascinated by them everyday. My faith is very important in my life. I think that if two people are on the same page with their faith. I was a volunteer at a soup kitchen once a month and am the leader of the Men's ministry at my church. I try to live by three rules. Do unto others. Be the man that I want my son to grow up to be. Be the type of man that I would want my daughters to marry. I do get into chic flicks sometimes. Most of the ones that I like somehow involve Meg Ryan. You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle.

I know that this is a bit odd to include in this profile but here it is….
Having been married before, and having seen how destructive sex outside of marriage is, I am a reluctant believer in no premarital sex. I think that with that boundary in place, two people can really get to know and spend time with each other on a genuine level, without all the pressures of sex. This by no means takes away the desires or temptations, but I think gives much more meaning to spending time together that is comfortable and genuine, without defrauding each other. Having been married before this is no easy task, but necessary to make the important decision of who to spend your life with. Whew... I believe that a service like this or other personals can be the best way to find the one that may have gotten away. The term soul mate is tossed around a lot but I guess that is what I am looking for. Every day has the opportunity to be the best day of the rest of your life, there are too many fantastic things that happen and it just seems a waste not to have the right person to share those times. The woman that I am looking for should be adventurous but also content to watch the grass grow with the right person next to her. Attractive and fit are important, she needs to take care of herself, body and soul. She should be independent, spontaneous, caring, thoughtful of others, loves to laugh, and is comfortable or at least willing to go to a museum, or maybe just sit on the beach and fish (I have no problem baiting the hook for you). I will always open and hold doors for you or just about anybody. A scuba diver would be fantastic, as I like to travel to Mexico for dive vacations. Quick with a smile is always a winner. I truly believe that the right person is just around the next corner. If you are reading this, you should take the next step. You won't regret it.
