I decided to do some re-writing of this profile. I don't think it said much about who I am, and it didn't sound like I was a nice guy. Hopefully this one is a better representation of me. I work full time, and spend a lot of time in the summer riding the bike. If I had someone to go with me more often, I would also spend some time boating.

About seven years ago, my mom had to go into a nursing home, and I am the only contact she has with the outside world. She still knows what's going on and is very hurt if I don't visit. So I visit from 5 to 7 on four nights of the week. Mom is 105 and still in good health, so who knows how much longer this will go on.

If you read that, you know I don't have much of a life. I work full time and love my job. I am looking for a lady friend. I would like a companion for doing things, and one who isn't jealous. Typically I make friends easily, but I don't seem to know how to meet a lady friend. I don't go into bars, and I don't do much grocery shopping. I eat out almost very meal. Waitresses are either too young, or already spoken for. They flirt, but they don't mean it. They want big tips.

Initially, I am looking for someone to have dinner with me to get acquainted. I am a gentleman, so it will always be me who pays for the dinner. After the initial dinner date, where I meet you at the restaurant, maybe things will get more romantic for any subsequent dinner dates.

I don't know exactly what most women want in a man, and I'm not really sure what I'm looking for in a woman. I just know I'm alone most of the time and would like to change that. Someone who doesn't mind eating out, and likes my two toys. I have a motorcycle and a boat, as you can see from the pics. I can use the bike alone, but I don't do the boating alone any more. It's just not worth it.

If you are a good person, and like to talk with a true gentleman, then we should do just fine. I really don't want to specify an age range here, but I'll just say I prefer younger then me. But I'm not specifically looking for the really young ones. To simplify for a better chance of a connection, 3-20 years younger is about right. I just don't want anyone older than me unless you're real eye candy, and we make a good connection.

I want to learn and be learned enough for us to enjoy the friendship. And yes, that does mean sleeping in the same bed when traveling. If you are not willing to share the bed, we are not compatible for this friendship. Meeting over dinner is a good starting point for a friendship. Can we enjoy some quality time together? Let's find out.

If you are willing to build a friendship and work toward the rewards, you might find that me being older, isn't really a problem.

This is our first date, so we are both learning about each other, and to some extent, we are evaluating the possibility of our next date, as we talk. Let's find someplace very stimulating to the minds of both of us. Someplace serene, where both of us can feel extremely comfortable and at ease, so we can talk like two best friends.
