I'm happy to have my songs broadcast on SongPlanet.com/net because I have no kids, so my music is really all I will have to leave behind after I die. I try to always stay positive and happy though, so please do not misunderstand what I am saying.

I seek friendship. I am not a pervert looking for one thing. I seek a lady that can be my friend and perhaps my companion someday. I love to talk, joke, think positive, dream, and help those that are in a sad state of mind. I seek a lady with an open mind with a humorous personality that is very honest about herself and life in general. There is no hurry or pressure on my part, as I realize what I long for does not just happen everyday. I am more than happy to make friends to talk to on the phone.

Current Job, Work History and Education:

This 2008-2009 recession/depression has hit East/Central Kentucky very hard. I am an honest person and thus will cut straight to the chase: I am currently unemployed and trying my best to ride these hard times out so I can once again have a career I am proud of again. I thank God for my family and relatives that help me out during these hard times. I am far from being a bum, I do whatever work I can find, and I look forward to finding the right career that matches the skills I have. No job is beneath me, nor am I too good for any job. But I have family ties to the greater Morehead Kentucky area and have little desire in moving far away. I keep the Faith that God has a career for me here.

I have several certificates in electronics and audio engineering. I also majored in business for a couple years after High School. I have worked both blue collar and white collar jobs. I ran a small business troubleshooting and repairing Window's based computers. One normally can locate my old Business info by looking on Google for Computer Repair in Clearfield Kentucky. I also put in years at a large call center, done computer tech support and customer service. I have done skilled and semi-skilled labor such as S.M.T. Electronics production for automotive parts companies, and computer companies such as Lexmark. I have done general-production, quality control, clean up jobs, stocking shelves and on and on... You name the job and I have likely done it before. Employers are extremely strict in this part of the country and they often keep less than 5% of any new-hires they take on. Low paying "Temp Agencies" have filled most of the previous higher paying jobs here, but we are happy for all jobs that remain here (we have lost our share to China and Mexico). Competition for almost any job is fierce here, yet I have a very sickly mother that I worry about (and a great father) that I do not wish to live far from. Fact is I have lived independently for most of my adult life.

In the future I would like to run my own small business if the economy picks up and the opportunity presents itself. This may be a real possibility in my long term future, but not right now. In the short term I will be happy to be able to go back to work doing what I love, which is work dealing with Electronics, such as Circuit Boards, or Windows based Computer Troubleshooting. I keep my head up along with my Faith and feel positive that the future has good things to come. I seek a lady friend that shares my faith of the future and will treat me as well as I do her and will grow as I do. I only want what is natural for any God Loving man to want.

I'm not really sure exactly what defines a "first date". I mean, why make things seem so formal? I say let people get to know each other through the internet and telephone first. If conversations go well and two people really enjoy each others company then I feel meeting in a public place is a great idea, but only after people are comfortable with each other to the point of maybe opening up and trusting each other a little. I see no reason to have to make a first-meet a tense situation in which either side has to worry about money or needing to put on their best looking clothes etc. If things flow at the right pace, both parties should already have a good idea of what to expect of the other one, and both parties should be happy to see each other above all else (in my humble opinion)....

Otherwise I always enjoy long drives, walks, even fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Above all, if two people feel they should meet, then I feel that conversation, and the will of God, is truly the bond that makes or breaks "a first date" no matter how one plays the clock.
