Sooner or later, you are going to have to order the double cheeseburger because you just know it tastes good. Alas, there are too many menu items and decisions are fleeting. Comfy to keep looking, but it doesn't fill the spot- just frustrates it. and the cycle continues on the next login.

Just looking for a monogamous relationship with someone that we can have shared interests and separate diversions, lively conversations. We don't have to agree, just be respectful. If I wanted someone to think like me, I'd date myself( that wouldn't be fun). Someone low maintenance and independant that I can see the world through her eyes and learn something new. I do like to be affectionate and it would be refreshing to find some willing to return affection.
However, I would prefer it to not be a 24/7 because we each need our space and I like my home(man cave) the way it is.

I like hard rock (KSHE classics on Sunday morning), blues, bluegrass and some of the stuff my son listens to.
I like outdoor activities, couldn't tell you what's on regular tv (despise reality shows)--I do like Natgeo, History channel, and Adult Swim( Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Squidbillies). I'll watch MMA fights, but not much else in the world of sports.
I like ethnic foods-Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Mexican.
Since I have a house, I enjoy home improvements, woodworking.
My workouts these days are kickboxing and martial arts. Too old to compete, but I like the vigorous type activity involved.
I have a variety of interests--some work best solo and others would be nice with a partner.

My politics are conservative (not Republican). Now, if you think that makes me some kind of backwoods cretin, then I can't change your thinking. I don't swallow what is purveyed as news these days.
Being a middle class kind of guy, I treat others with respect and don't expect anyone to wait on me, or think they are beneath/above me. I think a partner should treat others kindly.
I am realistic that the person I seek doesn't have to be a Barbie, but I am not into the Michelin man's ex either. Heavy breathing shouldn't result from climbing a set of steps.
BTW-- I don't drink or drug. I don't mind if my new friend has a drink, but if you have to booze to have fun, we're not a match.

If playing the "hard to get" game as a strategy works for you, great----life's too short for me to join in.

Daytime location like a park, Boat House, outdoor dining, or the Botanical Gardens or riding on Katy trail(not the whole thing, I'm not nuts). Art Museum since it's quiet. Any location in the country --float trip, hike. Anywhere that conversation doesn't have to be shouted or repeated.
