Well for starters, I’m really open minded. I’m Libra so I guess you could say I'm romantic and I've been told I have a charming personality, very easygoing, sociable and can be flirtatious at times. I'm usually the big brother type in friendships...I've been described as an excellent listener with good words of advice...at the same time I'm the social butterfly I'm sometimes quiet but I'm extremely friendly and overly accepting of others.

I'd like to think of myself (not trying to sound conceited or egotistical...but then again...this section says to explain myself and everyone has some kind of ego...I can't remember which psychologist theorised about our various egos but regardless) as a professional type meaning I treat others how I'd expect to be treated which is with respect and courtesy. Everything I do or strive to achieve has one or many purposes. I enjoy giving back to others and giving advice when prompted. I guess I've been described as somewhat shy (at first I have you), but also the tall, somewhat dark skinned and handsome type. I find I can be more productive when I set my priorities and expectations at a much higher level and I find that if I don't reach my goal I look at my faults or negatives in those situations as learning curves for my next project, etc.

I'm a simple, non-complicated, life loving, old fashioned Canadian guy. I try and enjoy every day of my life one at a time, I try not to think too far ahead of myself and would rather let life take its course while enjoying the smaller things in life. I consider myself to be extremely sarcastic and funny I love to laugh and make people happy. I've completed my 4 year BA honours in Sociology with a minor in Criminology at Brock University. I am on course to obtain my general degree in education (or teacher's degree if you prefer simple education lingo lol)as I am now attending teacher's college in Australia in order for me to achieve my career goal of being one of the best educators I can possibly be in the elementary school system. Having the love and passion for helping and working with children is a big reason for me wanting to teach.

I love playing all kinds of sports, baseball (Let's go Blue Jays), hockey (Go Leafs Go), basketball, golf, swimming, (ultimate) frisbee, soccer and pool:) but pretty much I'm a typical guy in the sense that I like sports, video games, drinking beer, playing pool, eating chicken wings etc lol. I love my friends and my family with all my heart (you all know who you are) as they are those people who always help keep me going (especially on the days we all love to forget, you guys have always been there for me). I love travelling and seeing new places and meeting all kinds of new people. I've been to Europe with stops in Italy, Paris and the French Riviera, as well as Florida and road trips/shopping trips to Buffalo and quick stops in Atlanta, Charlotte and Cleveland, and now Australia and Fiji are crossed off, I may be hitting up New Zealand, Germany and Japan, however...I'd expect that list to grow as time passes lol.

I'm looking to find a nice young, woman...someone I can truly connect with. I want someone to share life and all its experiences with while also experiencing all of life's beauty, trials and tribulations with as well...I'm not out for a one night stand...I want to find a mature, funny and sarcastic, friendly, kind, honest, smart, genuine, beautiful (inside and out), and hopefully somewhat athletic or what I like to call sports savvy or interested young woman. I'd really like to find a woman who is willing to challenge me in not only conversations, but also sports, knowledge, and just life in general. And I hate to have to mention this but it seems some women (and men too)forget...relationships are a 2-way road...they require similar effort from both parties and when I say that I mean it's not 65/35 or 75/25...it's 50/50...both parties needs to give the same effort if you're serious about making the relationship work. I hope this isn't too much to ask but I have been described by many as being too nice which I know isn't always the best thing but I tend to be picky when it comes to people because I can't stand fakes, liars, backstabbers, drama, etc.

I'm looking for someone to have interesting conversations with. I would also like to find someone who knows what they want in life, someone with their own wishes, goals aspirations, morals, values, etc and what they deserve both in terms of life and their careers but also in a potential partner in a relationship.

I'd like to find someone who is a happy individual in terms of who they are and who is happy with their own person while also looking for that special someone to add to their happiness in life rather than creating happiness and in turn to help share life's experiences with. I hope this isn't too much to ask but drama and everything else considered, I've experienced my share of it and I'm sick of it. I know what I want but I just hope I don't scare you off by sounding demanding because I promise I'm not I'm just determined:)

Basically with me you have my respect until you show me otherwise. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I despise rude, arrogant, stuck up, pretentious, condescending and nasty people (especially those who don't have time to even say please and thank you or even holding a door open for the ladies; I mean it doesn't take alot of effort to be nice, proper and polite) and I can not stand people who are dishonest, I mean seriously what's the point? I would love to meet someone who shares some of the same passions for life as I do. I believe that honesty, communication, trust, loyalty, friendship, self-respect and respect for others are extremely important in making any potential relationship work. I don't play games with people, I don't wear a mask and hide who I am and most importantly I tell people things as they are. I have a huge passion for the beauty that life presents to us. Most importantly, it's not purely looks I go for (although there has to be physical attraction), however the most important thing to me is the girl is genuine, heartfelt, sweet and genuinely a good person. I like to consider myself intellectual and intelligent as I enjoy having interesting, stimulating conversations with others as they all help make life more fun and of course more interesting lol. It's kinda hard to suggest a perfect first date because I think it would change depending on who I'm going out with as well as the season/time of year. Each person has their unique, personal interests. But I would love to go somewhere where we can talk and really get to know eachother. I would just enjoy being in her company getting to know her. Picnics, athletic venues, pubs with or without live bands, walks on the beach, etc all are awesome ideas with great potential. Once the night is over I would drive her home walk her to her door to make sure she gets in ok and if things went well I'd try and get her #, eventually ask the dreaded question as to whether or not another date in the future and if so I just may give her a hug and a goodnight kiss and hopefully all this along with a lil luck and chemistry will lead to a 2nd date with her. Overall though I can do just about anything and have a good time. If we can agree on something that we would both enjoy doing then let's do that on the 1st date lol I don't like making all the decisions I like hearing what the girl has to say as well. Something less formal and more open and easy going would be the best because there isn't as much pressure and it's less of an interview feeling kinda time when you can talk to each other openly and freely. A sporting event, sports bar for wings and beer, nice restaurant, picnic, watching the stars, Jays game, etc...the possibilities are endless lol
