Looking for someone to socialize with on a casual basis, mostly weekends. I always liked my own space and my pets were pretty good company but I've lost 2 of them to cancer in the last 2 years and now there is a huge void in my life so I have more time and a stronger desire to be with people now. I don't know, I'm still heart broken and lost without my dog (I miss him so much..he was my constant companion for over 14 years) but I'm still an independent type so i think i'm still looking for an independent type of guy that like me would like some company now & then. Must like animals..no one with allergies please.I still have one cat left and i might eventually get another dog. (Update..I wasn't planning on getting another dog so soon but the little waif in the pictures needed a home..i just agreed to foster her at first (of course with me, even after only 2 days it's hard to give her back and I think that is what they count on)..looks like I may have a new roommate already.She is a Min Pin X..1 year old and full grown..and a real handful..she is nothing like Pongo and i still miss him desperately but she definitely helps takes my mind off my loss.

Back to my original sentiments.. I'm not really holding out much hope to find my soul mate at this stage of the game but one never knows ..however i'd like to find someone who's flaws i can tolerate at least and visa versa..right??
Boy I sound kind of cynical don't I? Maybe somebody out there likes a challenge..anyway hope to hear from you independent types who are animal lovers.
