Note: I just moved back to Riverside to help a family member as they battle cancer again.

Now how on earth does one distill who they are into a few lines of text? Oh well, here I go!

I am an interesting person, or so people say, and sometimes its in a good way. I try to find the humor in most situations. And thus many people like me because I make them laugh. But, hey, its just me being me, after all, thats all I know how to be...tee hee ;)

I am a real person. I lived in Long Beach for the last couple years and worked for a Law Firm and dealt with people who are as I call them plastic. ARGH!!!! I mean really why do people try to be something they aren't? On that note, being real and who you are is very important. Honesty is essentail. I am sure we have all had relationships where dishonesty was a factor in things going down hill. And once trust is gone its over.

I used to live in the area but that was years ago. WOW, it has changed and everyone I know has moved on. So, I would love to meet new people and rediscover the things.

I have interests that are varied and diverse. These range from spending all day at a museum to a good book you can't put down and read all the way through in a sitting, when its done you feel a little sad. I love cooking, it gives me a chance of being creative, and it can be fun with the right person, I also love doing outdoorsy things like hiking, I used to hike Mt Baldy or the surrounding area every weekend which I am prepping to start doing again as well as backpacking some of the other hills and mountains. I SCUBA dive and kayak, although those are now more for weekends when I go back to Long Beach to spend a day or two on my boat. There is nothing like spending some time on the water to get rid of stress. I am also getting up to speed with running again.

Other things about me, I love engaging conversation. Not inane babbling but real conversations about anything. To me intelligence is sexy. I love sunrises, new food, history or anything history related really, I even planned on studying archeology but alas, the job market isn't that great in the field, although one day!

Anyhow thats enough about me. If you are intelligent and have your own mind then I can't wait to hear from you, until then take care.

Is cliff diving or bungee jumping to much for a first date?

Well, if we are going to meet, then I am guessing we have talked for a bit already and would have a good idea of mutual interests, so we should go from there. This can be a mom and pop coffee shop with a good house blend or whatever seems like the thing to do. I always say, "Its not the activity, but the company that makes the moment."
