I'm looking for that one lady who can knock me off my feet, and would like to meet someone in the New Bern area, or at least within 25 miles or so. I've been single for over 8 years now, and just haven't found that person yet. I'm a very laid-back guy and want the same in a lady. I love to do all the things that the average lady wants to do, shopping, yard-saling, you name it, we'll do it. I must say that I'm very picky in one respect....I'm slim and I want a lady who is anything between slim and just a few pounds over, and when I say that, I mean just a few pounds. This is not meant to put anyone down because of their weight, but I just don't find overweight women appealing. I quit smoking on June 26 and haven't had a cigarette since.
I live just a few miles east of New Bern, and share my place with the kitty and doggie shown in the pics...the pics are recent.
First Date
I'm very open as to what to do on a first date....a picnic would be great!!!! Actually, what would be great is to be in a situation so that we could look into eachs other's eyes, the windows to our souls!!!!! I prefer a first date to be very personal (like no movies, etc.) so we can talk lots. Another good first date would be for us to get in the kichen together and cook a really great gourmet meal...I love to cook, was a "househusband" (non-married) for over a year, and, by the way, I don't mind doing the dishes.
