I am 2 years divorced, and no, I don't have issues with it. I am a smart guy who has a pretty laid back life. I would like to meet someone who doesn't really have a "clique" they belong to. Someone who enjoys a variety of things ranging from nice dinners to just walking out and about in shops or whatever at the beach.
My ultimate goal is to find someone who will be a great friend first, and more if it happens.
My likes are not defined but I have many. I have hardly ever met a person I couldn't have some compatibility with.

My perfect first date would be for a nice drive to the beach on a 75 degree day. Just cruise up the coast and stop frequently to look out over the ocean while getting to know the person I was with. Stopping for a quaint little lunch and then off to watch the sun set, the whole time, sharing laughs about this and that. Follow the whole day by a nice dinner in a cafe overlooking a beach. What happens from there is all based on what the day had in store.
If it is not a nice warm day, then an evening out, dinner, followed by a nice time to chitchat over beverages. (It's hard to think of things to do when it isn't a nice day out)
