My name is Paul. I am in the Army and have been deployed to Iraq for the second time since April 09. I am stationed at Ft Hood, TX but I don't know where I will be ending up or what I will be doing when I get back. There is a pretty good chance I will end up back in NY so I thought why not start chatting with some people in the area. I just got back from my mid tour leave which was great. Saw a lot of my family and saw one of my best friends get married. I am now starting to work on applications to MBA programs. I enjoy meeting new people and traveling. Like everyone, I am looking for the one in the end but my intent is to have fun and learn a lot about myself until that happens. Being deployed I am just looking for people to chat with at the moment and maybe meet when I get back.
A little more about me. I am 6'4'' with short redish brown hair, blue eyes, and weigh under 200 lbs. I love the outdoors, sports, movies, books, partying, and dancing. I am very close to my parents and older brother. I have a dry sarcastic sense of humor and at times am very talkitive or very quiet. Right now, my career has been my main priority and it takes up a lot of my time but it doesn't mean I have to spend my free time alone. If I find a jewel I will run with it. I am looking for a woman who is active, independent, confident, intelligent, caring, open-minded, likes to laugh, likes to work out, and will have good time whether she is out dancing the night away or sitting on the couch watching a movie. I am looking for a woman who is independent and successful in her own life. Someone who has a good famliy and friends. I believe still having guys/girls nights out is important. Someone who can go running, play sports, or go to the gym with me would be another plus. I am looking for a woman that challenges me and that I want to be better for. Another important thing to me is communication, any relationship whether it is a friendship or romantic one needs to be open and truthful. Dislikes are****, superiority, not liking children, and not trying new things.

I like to do things that allow you to get to talk and interact on a first date. That can be as simple as dinner and drinks or something more active. I am still have some chivalry in me so I like to pay on the first date.
