As I have read more of the forums and have a better understanding of my situation and what I'm looking for, it has become obvious that I needed to rewrite this section of my profile. It seems like people interpret what I put in my profile in different ways so please read carefully as I will try to be explicit about myself, my situation and what I'm looking for. I do realize that a very small percentage of the ladies on this site will even consider talking to me let alone anything more. Please ask questions as opposed to making ass-umptions.
Yes, I'm married and honest about it. No, I have no intention of getting divorced. My wife and I realize our marriage is weak but after 23 years we are comfortable with each other and support each other. Neither of us is looking for that new "love of our life". Too late. Ours is her 2nd and my 3rd. We do live together when I'm home but I am gone part of the time; I enjoy traveling and seeing new things and places while she prefers to stay home. She also prefers to do what she likes and doesn't share most of the things I enjoy. I will not become involved with someone and spend time with her in my home area as it would be harmful to my wife and I have no intention to hurt her. She does not know I'm on this site but if I met someone that I was going to travel with or spend significant time with, I think it would be necessary for her to know that woman.
I'm an older man who feels young and wants to enjoy life. I believe life is to be lived and enjoyed.  I spend part of my time in Arkansas and part in Minnesota. I'm normally in Arkansas 2 - 3 weeks at a time and then back in Minnesota for a month or two. My interests include outdoor activities and things that are active participation. I also enjoy travel and am willing to try most new things.
I'm looking for that special woman who is comfortable with my situation and desires to enjoy some of the same things I do. She must have a presentable appearance and a high level of self confidence. Ideally she would enjoy travel, have some freedom, and have her own financial resources.
I am not looking for a 1 night stand but someone to share the things that we enjoy together for a number of years. I'm tired of doing everything alone or always trying to find someone to spend time with.
