Active lady whose tastes are so varied they can only be described as eclectic. Yes, I'm easily amused!

Cheerful and easy-going by nature, I don't take life (or myself) too seriously. I love to laugh at life's little ironies, and can find some humor in almost any situation. Sometimes it may be a bit dark, but then again, such is life.

I'm intelligent; I enjoy stimulating conversations, literature, movies, and even try to keep up with current events. Yes, I've been known to play Devil's Advocate, and I don't mind going a round or two if you wish. But be careful! Being a 'true Libran', I've been known to argue one side of an issue, then switch and take the other stance just for kicks.

I am equally at home camping under the stars and fishing as I am going to the theater and dining at a fine restaurant. I was raised in the country, and can appreciate the peaceful quiet of sitting on the end of the dock, dangling my feet in the lake. But I am also a member of the 'world community', and cannot imagine my life without theater, gourmet food and a nice glass of Vouvray.

I'd like to meet a man who understands the importance of connecting with someone on more levels than simple physical attraction; who isn't necessarily a workaholic, but has a good work ethic and takes pride in their accomplishments; who accepts that I don't need fixing, and I don't want to 'fix' them, but together we can be better than we were separately.

Some qualities I do find are important to me: a sense of humor, the ability to discuss differences without getting angry, intellectual without being overly analytical, tolerant of others, and a love of learning.

“First Date” sounds way too stuffy. Maybe that should be postponed a bit. How about meeting for coffee? If that goes well we can shoot pool or go for a walk and gab a bit. Something low-key and leisurely, just to see if we click.
