I like the simple things in life -- sittin' on the porch, watchin' the sunset, drinkin' a cold one (Dr. Pepper, beer/wine or a healthy drink from my new juicer, depending on my mood). I love a comfortable silence with someone special. Or maybe a hike or a bike ride or even a road trip. City parks, theme parks, dog parks -- all good... I love music (both writing and enjoying) and I'm just as comfortable at home with a glass of red wine and a movie or backgammon as I am taking off on an adventure. One time, on the way to Vegas, I stopped halfway there -- it was so dark, you could literally see billions of stars. . . Wow, you still reading this? Ok, here's some more...

I'm pretty much the opposite of "clingy", yet still able to make time for that special someone. Which brings me to who I'm looking for -- someone genuine, who is happy, with a positive outlook on life (bonus points if you like animals, are artistic and/or an educator). I like someone who can be a girl when she wants, but with enough tomboy in her to have fun. Age doesn't concern me. A zest for life does.
