About Me
I am single, young at heart and live in the South East of England, about 25 miles South of London.
I work in the pharmaceutical industry, close to where I live.
For enjoyment, I like walking, cycling, running, sometimes squash.
I also like to write songs (mainly rock), and record them on my computer. I recently put 14 of them onto CD. I like live entertainment whether it be music or theatre. I love movies and music when I am at home.
I love to travel to different countries, and visit places of interest like museums, art galleries.
I like to go for walks where there is beautiful sceneary, and take lots of photographs to create memories of those occasions.
Of course, all these experiences are far more enjoyable, if there is someone to share them with.
I am 48 but I don t look or feel that old. I live an active life rather than think my best years are behind me. I will know when it is time to take things abit more slowly and will act accordingly. Untill then I will endeavour to indulge in anything that takes my fancy (as long as I am not harming anyone else or myself). I am ideally looking for a likeminded female to share happy times with which will hopefully lead to something more long term. I dont have any preconceived ideas as to who my ideal woman is as I can never tell who I will be attracted to and for what reason. There obviously has to be that initial attraction to make it sparkle. I dont like small minded people. I like someone who is willing to listen to anyones point of view before deciding whether to accept or reject it. I do have my own set of ideals, but I am nevertheless willing to listen to anyone elses incase someone comes up with something that hasn't occurred to me before.
First Date
For a first date, I tend to like to meet at a fairly quiet bar, where we have a chance to get to know each other, and sit and chat for a while. If we seem to be getting on well, I might suggest going for a walk in the surrounding area, if it's a nice area.
