I'm just a helluva nice guy, tryin' to find a nice lady, to have a relationship with. I've indicated I'm looking for "Long-Term", but obviously that will have to start with "Dating" first. I'm generally a positive person, but I often become discouraged when others don't mean what they say. No one wants to be alone for the rest of their lives, (including me), so why are people so quick to judge and dismiss. I know that I'm a great guy, but no one seems to take the time to get to know me (hence - "U Don't Know Me"). I don't set my standards so high, that I'm insulting to others. I ain't perfect, no one in this world is; so here I am, with all my imperfections; love it or leave it.

I haven't yet figured out why I'm still on this site. I hardly get any mail or responses, for that matter. I was away for a few months, and lo and behold, I had no new mail when I logged back on. I could lie, and embellish my profile; lead women on, and waste their time on someone who is going to disappoint them in the long run. But, alas, I refuse to stoop to that level. I will abandon this site before I lie or change who I am to please someone else.

Not to put the pressures of the "first date" on anyone; our first "face-to-face encounter" can be as simple as a walk in the park.
