I'm a 32-yr old mid-career professional that's relatively new to WNY. I relocated to Buffalo last September to be close to my daughter. She's three.

I've been an IT consultant in one form or another for fourteen years. I like it quite a lot.

I don't know if I love learning or teaching more. I guess they're kind of the same since the best way to really learn something is to teach it. I do both as much as is appropriate.

I'm usually described as intense and really funny. I can also be a complete bore when uninspired.

Things I'm into: Art, music, photography, NPR, spirituality, awareness, global issues, the outdoors, being positive

Not so much: Reality television (or TV at all), NASCAR, spectator sports, pop anything, etc

Movies: American Beauty, Kill Bill, Pi, Being John Malkovich, Requiem for a Dream, Reservoir Dogs, The Shawshank Redemption, Bowling for Columbine, A Clockwork Orange, Dogma, Fight Club, The Meaning of Life, O Brother Where Art Thou?, Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, Donnie Darko, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

What I'm looking for: Intelligence, passion, class, culture, integrity, loyalty, kindness, with a sense of adventure. Someone interested in a real and meaningful connection.

I believe in balance above all things. I can be regimented, focused, serious, and even rigid at times. I can also be completely $&*(#* out there. I believe there are appropriate times for both.

How about dinner and a museum? I love museums... or galleries. Maybe we could go see some live music after. It should definitely include art and/or music.
