I am a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. I am currently working as an architect designing labratories, data centers, and clean rooms. My true passion is in sustainable design. I plan to someday own a design-build architecture firm that specializes in urban infill housing that is energy efficient and net-zero energy. I just bought a 'fixer upper' in Carnegie and I am living there. It is gonna be a fun project :)

I hope to find a woman that I can really connect with on multiple levels. I don't know if this is the place to find that, but it is good to keep your options open :) I have extremely high standards for myself. I expect my mate to have their own high standards as well. I won't go thru my list of 'don't email if you are...', like everyone on this site seems to do. I would love to hear from you, no prerequisites required.

I am a quiet, laid back guy. I love being outdoors. I most enjoy camping, whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, canoeing, backpacking, and pretty much anything else outside. My weekends during the summer revolve around being outside :) So I think that one of my few requirements for women is that they like being active in the outdoors. I have aspirations of hiking the Appalachian Trail within the next few years.

I would have to say we need to do something where we have a chance to talk. Doing something that is a bit out of both our comfort levels would probably be a good thing to make things more spontaneous...

I feel that having a mutually satisfying conversation, not matter what the topic is, on a first date is key/indicator for a long lasting match.
