Okay, now that I am done with the preliminaries, let me tell you a little about myself. I am well-traveled and well-educated (at least I think so); most importantly I treasure the "self" education I have received, and continue to receive, just by living (school of hard knocks). I work hard at my job, but my job does not define me, my passions do (more about that later). I am disciplined about my life -- body, mind, and spirit. I love great music. My collection features numerous recordings, from World Music and Classical to R&B and Jazz. Also a variety of DVDS, and although I enjoy taking in a movie now and then, I prefer a comfy evening at home with popcorn and a movie cuddled up on the couch with a blanket. I take pleasure in the outdoors, where there are lots of trees, lakes, sun (picnics), and especially where there's white sand and the ocean around! If you enjoy meeting, talking to people, continually learning new concepts and know how to get away to relax and rejuvenate (vacate the premises!), then we perhaps have something in common.

What am I looking for in a partner?
I am looking for a woman who is available. Available means that I can call you at your residence (not just your cell phone) and that you can meet within 48 hours, if need be. She must also have a sincere desire for a long-term or possibly lifetime relationship (getting too old to play games, and life is too short. I want someone who appreciates honesty, integrity, and is in touch with his innermost feelings and not afraid to share them. I was raised in a loving home with high character and a mother to instill very high qualities in me. She taught me to always be able to take care of myself, no matter what. I am sincere, loyal, devoted, reliable, loving, gentleman, and quite affectionate with the right person. I am very blessed to have a wonderful mother who was careful to instill these qualities in me. I am seeking an integrous relationship of moral character. Quality and truth is so rare these days. Note that I have a very high regard for honesty, as well as gentleness, thoughtfulness, and playfulness. Some people take life too seriously and they are letting it pass them by. One famous writer has said that "most people die at age 21, but don't get buried until they're 62!" My goal is to live my life until at least 115 years young! I am a high energy person, but I do know how to relax and appreciate "down time."

Yes, yes, yes, I know that everyone likes romantic dinners and walking in the park (smiles). I don't want to know about that. Take a moment and let me know more significant things about you. Note that I'm a well-rounded man that is not easily influenced by pretty faces and the materialistic things of the world. I know what it is to have and not to have. I'm interested in meeting individuals who are thorough and accomplished. Chances are, if you've read this far you agree with some of my thoughts (smile). Let’s see where it goes.
