I've never been the type of guy looking for the house with the white picket fence. I'm non traditional in most senses of the word, and I'm looking for the same. I don't care much for what-ever is on the radio, but I like alt-rock. I don't turn on the TV, but I do record shows like House and Burn Notice. I'm also atypical in that I can talk about my emotions and I like having conversations other than about the weather or a reality TV show. I like having a few drinks, and have no qualms about that. I even dance too! I took some salsa lessons and wouldn't mind learning a few others. Sorry, I don't like hip hop though.

What do I like? Adrenaline, really good tequila, conversations that leave me pondering. Movies and books that do the same. I sit in front of a keyboard for a large periods of time, and that tends to get balanced out by surfing, mountain biking, roller-blading and sometimes driving a bit too fast on my motorcycle.

Travel is also something I like to do, but usually its something active. Like snowboarding on Mt Hood, or going to Banff national park in BC for some hiking or mountain biking. Still have quite a few places I want to go, and things to do.

Also I like to read. I'm interested in technology (since that is partly my job) and science fiction is something that always engages my brain. I like to think about where we might be in the future. Maybe it'll be a better place, or maybe it'll be worse? But above all else I just like to ponder

Something where we can talk and get to know each other. A pub, a hike, maybe kayaking on a calm lake somewhere? Save the adrenaline stuff for later since that can sometimes interrupt a good conversation! Or then again, maybe its a good way to start? A good conversation that flows, one that involves something other than the usual mundane details. Thats what I crave. I want my mind to be stimulated along with my body
