It is very difficult to describe myself. No matter how many times I write this, I fear that it is inaccurate or will not appeal to someone who might mesh well with me if they met me. My interests develop and change. I am open to new experiences.

Some constants are that I love to laugh. I enjoy deep conversation. I can't stand superficiality. I rarely do anything because its expected. My circle of friends is small, intimate, and incredibly diverse. I share lots of different interests with different friends.

I have children, only one of whom is still living at home, and pets.

I have lived as a single person for quite a few years and I gather that I have developed some of the idiosyncracies that adults who live with only children develop. I like to do things the way that I do them and can be quite a creature of habit.

I like reading at home, I like watching movies, I enjoy political discussions. I like going to neighborhood bars for a few beers and music, but I also like going to nice restaurants. I love the beach. I miss the old North Wildwood, NJ and hate that its become garden of condominiums in which a new condominium sprouts each week.

I am looking for someone whose company I enjoy and with whom I share a mutual physical attraction. I have no specific goals for a relationship. No matter which direction the relationship goes, I want it to be honest and to have a strong foundation in friendship.

By the way, I am a smoker who will not deceive myself or anyone else by saying that I'm trying to quit.
