About Me
I've been told that I'm intelligent, good-hearted, and possibly slightly insane. But everyone could use a little insanity once in while. I would like to meet someone who is mature but still knows how to play, self-sufficient but can ask for help, independent but needs me anyway, has ambition, is chivalrous, romantic, honest, keeps his word and knows how to treat a lady. I would like to meet someone who shares some of my interests but has interests of his own. I don't want to have someone who feels the need to be right beside me 24/7. If you are constantly together how will you ever have anything new to talk about? I wouldn't expect him to join me for tea at a cutesy teahouse and I don't want to be expected to watch wrestling. Two people can share a life without sharing every second of it. I am a romantic. I would like to meet someone who knows what romance truly is. Romance isn't just in the bedroom. It's a call in the middle of the day because you missed that special someone's voice. It's leaving little notes in unexpected places. I've recently rejoined the SCA (it's too difficult to explain check out www.SCA.org). I'm a writer so most of my time is my own. I'd like to meet someone who's interested in exploring all the wonders our part of the world has to offer.

I don't think the first meeting would be a date per se. I think that would be making someone's acquaintance. If at the first meeting it seems we have hit it off.. then we can plan our first date together.
