I am tall and voluptous,that is what most people notice about me

I do try & live a healthy lifestyle, it is important to my mental and physical health.

I don't drink alcohol, so hanging out at bars and the club scene is not my thing. . I feel like the "odd man out" when I am drinking a diet coke and everyone else is getting loaded...and I have become fairly shy about meeting prospective men to date is challenging because I don't go perusing bars, gyms, or, where does one go to "pick up" on the opposite sex?

I am focused on my children when they are with me.., and their needs come first, although I do have alone time.
I love to read, research, write, investigate (I do a LOT for my job) from reports, theses to poetry..
I listen to NPR daily during my commute.and I have a Graduate Degree,,,,,,pretty well educated with diverse interests.
. I have recently acquired an affinity for the NY Times. I really enjoy spending a Sunday morning reading it cover to cover. Except the sports section. That, I pass on.

I have traveled to many of the major U.S. cities and many of the not-so major U.S. cities, and learned a lot along the way. It is my goal to now travel abroad. I have been to the Caribbean, which was lovely. I am getting rather disillusioned with CA for so many reasons, despite the fact that i have lived here all of my life.
Yes, I have children, and they are with me half of the week.They are my top priority as is their happiness, but I have my alone time, also.

sometimes it is fun to wing it. I have many interests. except for motorcycles, they look good, but as a former Xray tech, I have seen too many bad accidents to risk life and limb to get on one.. A first meeting would be low key to see what degree of compatibility there is, and go from there.. I love starbucks, coffee bean and the like.
