I live in Burlington and work as a web designer/digital artist. I consider myself to be laid-back, quiet, but sneaky and mischievous. I can be shy with people at first, but those who know me say that I can become a bit of smartass after a while. My friends would generally characterize me as someone who is wise, non-judgmental, has weird and varied taste in music, follows world events a little too closely, and is in facebook rehab.

I love sneaking around in air-conditioned movie theatres on hot summer days, pubs, and the occasional club in Toronto. While there are few nice clubs in Toronto, most of them are too noisy and crowded - not exactly my kind of scene. I prefer smaller places which offer good music and room to dance - I suspect that I'm a terrible dancer, but most people tell me otherwise.

I also like to travel and have many adventures wherever I go - nearly getting into massive German barfights with people who think I'm American, staring down one-legged pigeons in Amsterdam, being roofied (but not raped) in Montreal and being chased by the police in Mexico (I got away).

I love traveling, and I will often rotate between going to Caribbean resorts and going on vacations elsewhere, which don't involve lying around all day. My friends can't always travel at the same times that I want to go, so I'd be interested in finding a travel partner to go on excursions with. Aside from the Caribbean, I also want to see Iceland and maybe Thailand sometime soon. I just came back from Puerto Plata and I'm already planning a trip back to Cancun in April, for a rematch with their corrupt police.

I am looking to talk with and perhaps meet someone who shares similar interests. Someone to share my life with and help me make sense of the world. Someone who also likes the following things:

Traveling, discovering new things, animals (fuzzy kittens and floppy-eared puppies), trying new recipes (I love cooking - or at least, trying to cook, when I get the time), grocery shopping, watching distant thunderstorms on warm August evenings, the contrast between white chocolate and dark chocolate, and Queen St. window shopping on a calm winter afternoon
