I guess I'm like most people in that I don't know what to say in this thing. Until I get to know people I'm really quiet. I am a little old-fashioned in that I expect the man to make the first move. However, I'm finding that I have to go outside my comfort zone and make the first move. It normally doesn't go that good for me, but that's ok. Everything happens for a reason, and in it's own time. I'm not a Barbie doll, nor will I ever be. I won't lie about what I look like, or who I am. I'm hoping one day someone will look past the outside for just a minute to get to know me.

I don't like the bar scene, but that's not to say I don't mind going out once in a while. I'm a single mother, so my child is my priority. I'm not one of those single mothers who goes out every weekend all weekend. I love to read. I love movies. I love sleeping in on the weekends. I'm not high-maintenance. If date night rolls around and we're strapped for cash, I'm all for pizza and a DVD. It's not how much you spend, it's how you spend the time you have together.

I don't like people who are insincere, because I'm not. I want someone who will be honest with me, no matter what.

I'm not looking for the "perfect man". Heaven knows I'm not perfect! I'm honest, passionate, loyal to a fault, and I promise I'll always surprise you. I've had quite a life, and it's made me who I am, the good and the bad.

I'm open-minded. I don't think I'm better than anyone else. I don't expect someone to always agree with me. Everyone having their own opinions is what makes life fun. Just because you may not agree with me doesn't make me right and you wrong.

I think our first date should happen sometime after we have talked a bit first. A couple of emails back and forth, then a few phone calls. See if we can talk at all, carry on a conversation. THEN we should go for the first date. I have no idea what that should be. Once we've talked, we'll figure something out. I'm open to suggestions!
