Update 10-18-2009:

Hi Guys….Updating my profile. Some things have changed and some have stayed the same since my last update.

1. I am still single (no change). I have had a few dates with guys from POF. Dating can be so frustrating…. But haven’t given up yet.
2. My son is finishing his last semester of undergraduate school and football season, then on to Grad school (yeah no more tuition).
3. My daughter is in her second year of college.
4. My education goals are on hold (cannot decide what I want to be when I grow up).
5. Still working nights as emergency room nurse and still loving it. Love the excitement and drama that goes on during the night. Not to mention helping and saving lives.

About me:

I enjoy a variety to things. Not into the bar scene to meet people, but like to hang out with my friends. I am just like everyone else, movies, beach, blah, blah, blah. I like to cook for special occasions, but that crazy day to day cooking can be annoying. (I am a good cook, but rather do the dishes). I mostly listen to country music also enjoy classical, jazz, reggae. You can keep your rap and heavy metal music (oh my, does that sound like your mother). I go to church, but not as much as I would like or should (night shift has changed some things in my life). I like to work out, walking on the beach is great exercise, bike riding. Would love to meet someone willing to be my trainer/motivator (the couch usually wins the exercise arguments). I will go fishing with you, sit in the woods and wait for that deer you want to shoot, or go to the sporting event of year (I even to go BassPro Shop). I work hard, love my family and friends, and I am just a good person.

About you:

Be nice, Be honest, Be flexible…………that sums it up.

I won’t make a check list of attributes. I think that is crazy, each person has good and bad qualities; just looking for that special person whose good qualities completely overshadows their bad qualities. I am looking for that special person that makes me smile even when they are not around, the one who is the first on mind when I wake up and the last when I go to sleep, and maybe invade my dreams ;-) Some of those things that make me smile are flowers for no reason, bringing me a cup of coffee or dinner at work because you know how hard I work, a silly text message, email, or voice mail, holding hands in the car or at the movies, big hugs when things go bad but also for no reason, lay on the beach watching fireworks or the sunsetting………

Shall I write the proverbal coffee or drinks in a place where we can talk? Maybe it is the best........but I think time at the beach, fishing, or the zoo would be cool too. Guess that would be the second date.
