Where to start...hmmm...well, I live for the beach and summer. I tend to spend most of my time at the beach alone, because I can't seem to find anyone who loves it as much as I do. I love to play and flop around in the water...I'm not a lap person, I just free-swim, which also pretty much describes my entire approach to life. I've always firmly believed that it's sunscreens causing the rise in skin cancer, not the sun...which is why I never ever wear sunscreen.. I love gardening, growing things. I have a huge veggie garden and two, big, wild & crazy flower gardens. I'm very open minded, but that's not to say that nothing freaks me out or that I'm open to anything. I have a very firm grasp on morality.

I'm not down with hunting/killing for sport and since we have grocery stores these days, all hunting is sport hunting as far as I am concerned. Animal murderers, stay away!! I love BC, I lived in Vancouver for 8 years and have lived in the interior as well and like to go camping there in the summer. I grew up in Calgary and I doubt there is anything or anyone that could ever convince me to move back there. I hate cities with all of my heart!! Happiness would be a hobby farm in BC with an alpaca or two and a few chickens and a cherry tree...someday...maybe! Joy would be living in the Caribbean or South America with daily access to the Atlantic...probably never.....I take marijuana medicinally, not for psychological reasons tho, nor am I "addicted", I'm not at all a "pot head" but I am absolutely in favor of legalization. It's a non-toxic, multi-use plant. Period. I don't use other drugs, I drink a glass of wine or a fruity drink very occasionally!!

Now to what I'm looking for in a relationship: attraction, a sense of humour; intelligence, kindness, emotional maturity, openmindedness, non-judgmental, non-critical. Critics and "keep up with the Jones"-ers need not apply. If all you can talk about is your money and things, move along. There are much more important things in life. ABSOLUTELY NO ECONOMISTS, please!! I believe they are primarily responsible for all of the world's problems, along with banks and multinational corporations.

In short, I'd like a relatively cerebral guy, someone who shares my values and with whom I can have a decent conversation (ie: not a neandertal). Is that too much to ask? I'd prefer to meet as friends first without any expectations and just see where things go from there...

Little update: I'm losing the favorites list, I find it a bit creepy, you can go ahead and put me on your list but I will remove you the next time I'm on, don't be offended by it. A pen and paper is just as effective to remember people you view imo!
