I'm a fairly down to earth guy who enjoys reading alot and talking about books, and art and history and boring stuff like that. I live in a world, for the most part, of ideas. Intellectual conversation and a woman's ability to carry one makes a woman more attractive to me. I like taking long walks in the park by my home and occasionally feed birds there. I work a relatively effortless job for the government with dreams of being Canada's next published novelist. I would really like to meet a woman who is interested in a committed, long-term relationship. I'm a pretty shy dude but I know what I want. I am not like most guys in that I do not take women for granted. I am a hopeless romantic and I believe in true love. I'd like a woman who knows who she is and is relatively independant. My ideal relationship would have each of us do our own thing some of the time, but when we get together it's special. I know that didn't make sense, I don't think it's supposed to. Oh, and one more thing: a woman who enjoys cuddling is important. Warning: My sense of humour leans toward the sarcastic, satirical, ironic, and non sequitur. More funny = less sense.

On our first date, I'd like to take you to one of my favourite restaurants depending on which cuisine you prefer. The most important thing on a first date is being able to converse (that's right, it isn't "conversate"), which means that "coffee", although clicheed, is close to ideal. Perhaps meeting at the AGO to chat over art would be a possibility? How about live theatre? Dead theatre? An overpriced lounge? An underpriced cafe? The Taj Mahal? Ayers Rock? Is this thing on? Jackal? Jackal? Is it a jackal?!
