I've been on my own for about four years now. At times things can be a little bit lonely but for the most part I enjoy running my own company which keeps me rather busy, just hanging out when the mood strikes me and volunteering in my community association. I also enjoy pursuing opportunties that allow me to grow spiritually, personally and professionally. If I'm not growing then I figure I must be doing just the oppostite which is withering away. I'm here to learn the lessons life is meant to teach me and use the experience I gain to move forward. By the way, that doesn't mean I have no "baggage". It simply means I'm aware that some choices I made along the way probably weren't the wisest but no one else is to blame for my decisions!

I've tried internet dating before and can't really say it was all that fulfilling. While I'd never mislead anyone and pretend to have feelings I don't, I see this as a great opportunity to add new friend(s) to my life and ultimately (perhaps) find someone special. Not everyone is going to be your "prefect" mate but what about a perfect friend to share the road of life with? Who knows where things might go if people took a more relaxed approach to getting together without the expectation that THIS has got to be THE ONE!

I LOVE my kids like crazy (all grown and on their own now) and family is hugely important to me. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year especially when it is shared with family and friends. The more the merrier!

Just one last little comment that I think bears mentioning: I do tend to prefer men taller than me when I wear heels (5'8" or more) and have some extra meat on their bones. A hairy chest would be a HUGE bonus!!!!!!!!!

I'd just like to meet in a casual environment and chat. The more varied your interests are the more we'll have to chat about. Even if I don't know a lot about the subject, I enjoy learning new things all the time so you'll discover I am a great listener. I am also as an eager participant on topics where I am knowledgable and have something worthwhile to say.
