| | Athletic guy looking for a friend who likes to be active. My car has all the requisite gear for tennis or baseball or swimming or whatever. I am ready to play at a moments notice because life is too short. But...I am just as comfortable not playing (those) games and, instead, watching plays and films and playing cards and board games. I am a fair cook but would like to be shown some new stuff. I really appreciate clothes but find that there's too much overhead to dressing up all the time. But when the time comes I do pay attention.
I have done quite a bit of camping: Bar Harbor, The Finger Lakes, Superior National Forest, Yellowstone, Utah and Montana and locally Widewater and Old Rag (although it's been a while since I have been there) and Deep Creek Lake. But I am not fanatical (I don't hike fast).
I work in Friendship Heights for a small independent agency of the Department of Justice. Unlike most other Justice employees I don't wear a white shirt and tie very often. I am adding that because I think there is probably a predisposed impression when you mention DOJ and being a stiff is not me (stuffed shirt--that is ;-) ).

There is always something to do. Dancing at Glen Echo (although I'm just average), hiking at Widewater, seeing films at National Geographic, the NGA or an Imax film at Air and Space or Natural History, Friday night jazz, the French Embassy, rollercoasters etc.. Fitting things in is not as hard aspeople think. |
