Way off the beaten path -- a freak of nature in looks and in mind and most decidedly in heart; a little on the dark side, a lot on the dork side. I love anything that keeps my mind moving. I can be elegant or earthy, prudish or erotic, deadly serious or amused past repair. It's all in the mood, and how it takes me. I'm open-minded but opinionated, and it takes evidence to sway me to your side of things. I will debate the finer points of politics, religion, science, and art, and smile no matter who wins.

I'm not a romantic by any normal definition of that word. I expect people to behave reasonably and politely, but I don't get excited by archaic ideas of chivalry or being "treated the way a lady likes to be treated." I will hold the door for you if your arms are full, and I expect the same, but if we're both capable human beings, whomever gets there first gets to hold it open, or we can take turns. I'm also not into protracted cuddling, public displays of affection, and the like. Trust me, if I like you, I will make it obvious without such artifice.

I'm a writer, a photographer, a dance club DJ, an announcer, and an educated woman who isn't afraid to call myself a girl. I am involved in many things, and prefer someone who wants to join me in things, but if that's not the case, just don't try to hem me in.

Coffee, a walk, an adventure, and above all, good conversation. I might kiss on a first date, if the mood moved me, but these days I prefer to go a little slower.
