Well, 1st year in Downers Grove and life is good. I've met a lot of great people and have made some very good friends. I'm still that guy that loves to laugh. I love being with people. I love those evenings that you get home and just shake your head and say;"God that was fun." That part of my profile will never change. Hey... we all work hard. The question is do you live to work or work to live? I still love my sports, and I may be living in Bear country now, but I remain a die hard Giant's fan.
I moved to the Cincinnati area in '89 from Upstate NY so the Yanks and NY Giants are my teams, but after 20 years I've got to pull for those Ohio teams, Reds, Bengal's, Buckeyes. My day starts with that pot of coffee and Sports Center.
I've got 2 Great daughters 19 and 11. The oldest lives in Connecticut but we still have a great relationship. She has started college in New Hampshire and is doing great. The youngest lives in N Kentucky with her mom and I have set my schedule to be able to visit her every time I'm working down state.
Right now I'm looking to meet people. If I meet someone special along the way, that would be great but I'm not that "lonely guy", needing to find his soul mate.
I'm an Oliva Cigar sales rep and cover the state of Illinois, which means I do spend a good amount of time on the road. Not only do I sell them but I love smoking them.(travels a lot and smokes...that's 2 strikes against me) but there is nothing more relaxing and enjoyable then a good premium cigar.
Since moving here I have discovered true love. It's the Chicago food! Any culture you want you can find, and it's all amazing. But after a year I realize it's time for another lifestyle change. I've got to join a gym!
Now I can tell you about all my great personality traits,how I'm loyal and honest,good hearted and kind, (all of which is true), but at this point it's all just words and doesn't mean sh*t till you get to know me. So...
