I'm an easy-going, down-to-earth type of guy who is ready to find my "true companion" for the remainder of our lifes journey. I have never been married, although have been in several long relationships. I always wanted children, but that just didn't happen. If you have children, I would Love them and treat them as if they are my own. I am basically old-fashioned, and would consider myself a good role model for your children of any age. I am loyal, dependable, honest, and FAITHFUL when in a committed relationship. I want someone to know that I am there for them, everyday, every way.....on good days and bad. I want to be the arms that hold you when you need a hug, the shoulder you cry on when emotions get to you, and the "big-ol'-teddy bear" you snuggle up to when our work day is done and we get home and settle in at the end of each day. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for a woman who is always an "emotional roller-coaster", but I do want you to know I'll be there for you, and I will expect the same from you.

I am looking for a woman who will be the one I can't live without once we meet. She should be mature, and not trying to act like a teenager, but it's O.K. to still have some "little-girl" in you, still be young at heart. She would know when to be a lady, and when she can let her wild and crazy side free. She will understand that I dont have a lot of vises or habits, but I have been "addicted" to fishing for years, and go most Saturdays (with some exceptions, of course). I am just a regular guy, and want a woman that can take me as I am. I dont want my lady to think she has to be "Miss Manners" all the time, relax and be yourself. We don't have to like all the same things, but we should be able to share some of each others interest. If you have children, I want to be a part of your family. If not, the two of us will be our family.

I'm not into the bar scene, (outgrew that many years ago!), nor do I care about frequently going to super-fancy places trying to impress someone. (If in the future we have something special to celebrate, we can go to the fancy place of your choice!!!) I would like to go to a place where we could talk. I want to find out about you, what type person you are, what you like and don't like, hobbies, what you do for fun. Do you like to travel alot, or only an occasional trip? Do you like to watch TV or do you prefer to read? I want to see if you have a good sense of humor, (mine can sometimes be silly, sometimes sarcastic, maybe off-color, even slightly raunchy occasionally but not too bad!). Just a suggestion, we could go to (or meet at) a park or a mall for a nice walk, or just find a place to sit, talk and enjoy each others company. If we are both interesed, maybe then a nice meal and/or a movie. Of course, you would have the final decision on what we do. I would want you to feel safe and totally comfortable. Because we are, at this point, little more than strangers. (hopefully that will change with time!).

I am not hard to please, and would like to find the same type lady to spend the remainder of my life with. I know, I know, I sound like a bore, but one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. But that's who I am, and hopefully I can find my special lady who requires nothing more than what we can share between the two of us (plus your children of course, if you have any).
