There used to be a bunch of vague stuff in here that no body read. I'm going to make this a little more detailed, and see if I still get messaged by people who I have nothing in common with.

First, I am snarky, a smart ass, and generally give people a hard time. It's part of my charm if you like me, and otherwise it's part of the reason you don't like me. I'm pretty much OK with this.

When I mention three or four different ways in my interests that I like to read, I mean that you should too. It's hard to read a book when the people you hang out with are always watching TV. I'm a huge fan of the companionable silence, especially if I get to put my cold feet on you somewhere, to warm them up.

Random fact: I don’t own a television. Yes, seriously. I do have a DVD player in my computer, if that takes the sting out any.

I like a lot of different movies, but I really can't do stupid funny. I hate Happy Gilmore. I loathe Austin Powers. I prefer British humor, except for Monty Python. I know that Monty Python thing takes out like half the geeks. I'm sorry.

My dog is special, well, in a helmet and a short bus kind of a way. He has health issues that sometimes take a lot of care and money. I seriously love my animals, and will do whatever I have to in order to take care of them properly.

I do like to be outside, on a blanket, with a sandwich. When the weather is good, I enjoy some light kayaking. If you'll handle the fire, I also like camping (with bathroom facilities.) If you want to climb a mountain, go ahead. I'm a big girl. I can stay home and read a book.

I really don't like to drive, especially on the highway. It's one of several things I am oddly traditional about. The others are all equally annoying.

Finally, I hate NASCAR, motorcycles, and monster trucks. Yes, I have pretty much resigned myself to being single until after I'm dead. Thanks for inquiring.
