I am an early retiree, originally from New Jersey by way of Pennsylvania and Kansas, now living in a modest condo in sunny Florida, with a boat, a convertible, and plenty of free time. All I need is someone down-to-earth with whom to share them!! Preferably an attractive lady with a modicum of intelligence, a sense of humor, an interest in history and current affairs, an interest in music and the arts (i.e. REAL music -- if your definition of "music" is limited to "country", "rock'n'roll", "gangsta-rap", or "hip-hop", try listening to NPR for a few weeks and get back to me). A lady for whom the word "class" is defined not by money, opulent lifestyle, fancy clothing and jewelry, or how many cruises you have been on, but rather by the spirit from within. Honesty, humility, compassion, affection, a willingness to give as much as you get. They all count heavily with me. It would be nice if you had all your teeth and were a great kisser and passionate lover too (lol)!!

Ahh, will I ever find a single lady who meets all of the above? (I know lots of married ladies who do -- that's why they're married (lol)!!) Maybe not, but I'll keep trying.

In the meantime, here is what I am NOT looking for:

Middle-aged-crazy-boomers (i.e. aging "Clubbers", "Party Animals", "Harley Mamas" and the like). There are so many of them on this site and elsewhere -- makes my head spin!! To them I say "Puhleeze, ladies, this is not the sixties (or 70's or 80's) any more. Surely you can't ALL have had repressed childhoods!! Acting like a dumb kid is not going to turn the clock back or restore your youth. So isn't it time you grew up a little?".

Well, if you got this far without pushing the "delete" button, maybe we should meet!!

First dates are for getting acquainted. Conversation over dinner or drinks at a nice restaurant (so many of them around here). Then go wherever the conversation flows!!
